Lift gates are particularly used in production facilities, where tools are frequently changed and material has to be brought in and out in short cycles. The lift gate system consists of the following components:
• Lift gate leaf
• Lift gate guide with fall arrestor
• Chain hoist with chain hoist console
The lift gate leaf is produced from edged plate and tube profiles. The dimensions for the lift gate leaf and the location of the glazing are coordinated with the customers. The lift gate leaf is 80 mm thick. The glazing consists of 8 mm thick panes of laminated safety glass. The lift gate is guided on four rollers to the corners of the gate and these rollers run into the fall arrestor. On initial delivery the rollers are pressed inwards using a lever and on assembly they are pressed outwards into the fall arrestor profile, after the door leaf has been installed between the guides. After adjusting the rollers, they are fixed into position with screws.
The lift gate is hung by a chain hoist on the fixing console of the lift gate portal. The chain hoist hangs on a rolled section console that is either fixed to the machinery or to the capsule. The chain hoist is hung on the door leaf with a chain and hook as well as an elastic connection. We include three toggle switches with consoles for end position detection. The toggle switches are adjusted on assembly. The control system can be supplies as an option.
